About

My name is Marios Mantzourogiannis and I come from Greece. Currently my family and I are living and working in Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST).

I started the photography on 2009 and I got into bird photography on 2015. Immediately birding and bird photography became my passion.

I am lucky enough and here in KAUST we have some excellent birding spots. A big number of birds stop over during their migration but also a good number of species are present throughout the year; there are records of more than 230 species.

Further to this, my home country Greece, is another great birding destination. Bird walks are always in the agenda every time I’m visiting home.
