KAUST – Golf Course, Migration is over

I was at the Golf Course today; it is apparent that the migratory visitors have gone. Only some birds were around. I spend couple of hours by the lake near the 4th green.

Only few good shots were managed. A Bluethroat posed nicely for a while. This kind of bird is very shy and usually hidden inside the reeds; a close sight is not easy. It is mostly seen on the ground, moving from one brush to the next. Menetries Warblers are very common in this area, flying across the reeds at low height, and allowing some close shots.
