2017Saudi Arabia – Tanomah, Al Soudah / May 4-6
On the weekend of May 4-6 I visited the Asir region, at the southwest of Saudi Arabia. Some of the best birding places in Saudi Arabia are there, where can be found the most of the Arabian endemic species.
I spend the afternon of May 4th and whole day of May 5th in Tanomah, Mahvar Park (18.963556, 42.132449 on google maps) and at the Waterfall Dahna (18.910826, 42.207933 on google maps).
On May 6th early morning I drove to Al-Soudah, Raydah Escarpment (18.206129, 42.410273 on google maps). At the base of the escarpment there is a dried wadi where I spent the whole morning.
